ΔKeystone DeltaMythic+ run comparison

Why was their key faster than yours?

Paste your Mythic+ log and one to measure it against, or paste yours alone and let it find runs of the same dungeon, same key level and similar gear. Either way it lines the two up pull by pull and tells you how much of the gap is your route, how much is damage, and exactly which packs to chain together next time. Or pick yourself in the log and measure your own play against ranked players of your spec on your gear, spell by spell.

Mythic+ dungeon runs only, not raids. Public logs. If a report holds several keys, you will be asked which one. See a worked example

How these numbers are worked out, and why they are not the ones on Warcraft Logs

Warcraft Logs' DPS column divides by the whole run. Not by the time you spent attacking: the denominator is the entire dungeon, identical for every player in the group. A slower key therefore deflates everyone's DPS even when nobody played worse. That is why two groups that killed exactly the same content can look 29% apart.

"Parse %" pools every key level; "Key %" is bracketed to yours. Both are DPS percentiles against your spec in that dungeon, straight from Warcraft Logs' own tooltips. At high keys the pooled one barely discriminates, so read Key %.

Damage per enemy force point is the honest cross-run number. Two groups that clear the same dungeon land within about 1% of each other on it no matter how long they took, so any real gap there means somebody killed different things.

Bosses are the clean read on raw throughput. Fixed health, no pack-size effect, near-100% uptime on both sides. Trash speed is dominated by how many mobs you pulled at once, which is a routing decision, not a damage one.

The runs on offer come from the public rankings, so they skew fast. That is why the picker leads with goals rather than a plain leaderboard: the fastest run in the world tells you very little, while a group on your gear who beat the timer by six seconds tells you exactly what to change. Item levels shown are for the ranked characters we could match, never a whole group average, because rankings never expose the rest of the party's gear.

The clock is Blizzard's, not ours. Timer comparisons use the keystone completion time the game reports, which runs 20 to 40 seconds longer than the Warcraft Logs fight window. Dungeon timers come from raider.io's static data.

Longer reads. Why your Mythic+ DPS looks lower in a slow key, and how to compare two Mythic+ logs pull by pull, the method this page automates.
